Clearing Things Up

I have been reaching out to food truck owners and have gotten a couple questions pretty frequently, so here are a few quick facts about me!
I used to have 2 food trucks, Three Kids Lobster and The Modern Waffle. That said, I currently do not operate a food truck. I have no vested interest in any truck out there.

I want this to be a resource for the community and truck owners. I want it to reduce effort in finding the perfect truck and clients. I do not want it to be another thing to keep track of for the truck owners, and so I am trying to do all the work myself and not ask anything of them other than permission to use their
logo and their own words describing their trucks. I also do not want to book trucks or interfere in their business at all, I want to provide more visibility and the ability to connect with trucks directly. Not a middle man, just another way to find them.
This site is free to use. Whether you are a food truck owner, a guest trying to find a new truck to try, or a client trying to find a truck to make your event complete. I do not charge anyone anything. I also do not plan on charging anyone anything going forward for these services. I personally paid for the website and am designing, creating and researching everything on here myself. No one pays me for the information I have gathered.
Why do I want to do this then? Simple. I love food trucks, I love the greater Omaha area community, and I want to see these incredible small businesses be successful. Some of our best chefs run food trucks, some of our best people eat regularly at food trucks, some of the most interesting people I have met have worked on food trucks, and the culture around food trucks is astounding to me after seeing so many different facets of the food service industry. Food truck community and culture is unique in such amazing ways.
The Omaha community has supported me in wonderful ways throughout my journey in food service, and this is just a small way I can give back to the amazing people in this area. This is a passion project for me, responding to a need that I saw when trying to find different food trucks in the area. It gives me great personal satisfaction to think that I may be contributing to the betterment of this awesome community. That is why I decided to create this website and why I am working hard to make it the best resource hub possible.
I hope this helps everyone to understand what OmahaFoodTruckFinder.com is all about and why I personally wanted to do this.
